Hi Alex – great point about showing rather than just telling. We’re all in on visual communication over here at TechSmith (and have been for 30 years). Nice article, very clean and well explained! As a blogger, I suggest you split this article in two; you have grab the attention with your title and the content before the actual explanation of the demo/types of it. You would arguably double your clicks and views. However, very nice content! I hope I could help you in some way.

This is solid advice, Alex. My Startup IRememba is in private beta right now with a pretty good MVP up. As we approach closer to start looking for seed funding, I’ve been thinking about the pitch decks. This is excellent advice and I’ll spend more due diligence in making sure the demo is sharp.

Totally agree, I sometimes make jokes that I am like a Tupperware sales party going from door to door, but with right product and the right audience it gets you through the door:), much better than another salesdeck.
